Marcus Lim of 19A01 captured snippets of the victorious day. Titled 'Together, Stronger', this series of photos was awarded the Best Photo Story in the Our Schools Our Story contest organised by the

Our Schools Our Story Contest - Best Story Award 2020 (Youth Category, Priceless Moments)

120728525_1524744341052438_4052717277243747355_o.jpg"I remember the morning exercises we did, the sports events we participated in, the cheers we shouted till we lost our voices. These seemingly mundane moments defined my experience at SAJC, making it one like no other. SAJC's emphasis on work hard, play hard has taught me to be adaptable. Being able to balance both has allowed me to experience thrilling adventures, be it in sports or studies. This is why SAJC feels like home to me."
This was part of the quote which was submitted along with Rachel's entry for the Our Schools, Our Stories (OSOS) photo contest. Her photo series titled ‘A Thrilling Ride’ was awarded the Best Photo Story and was also featured in yesterday’s copy of The New Paper.

Rachel’s photos and reflections are a timely reminder for Saints to cherish every moment they have in SAJC, especially as the JC2s attend their farewell assembly this coming Friday.

URA Challenge for the Urban and Built Environment (CUBE) 2020

White Job Post Vacancy Facebook Post.png The annual URA Challenge for the Urban and Built Environment (CUBE) Workshop and competition is organised by the
Urban Redevelopment Authority
. Over the span of five days in November 2019, a team of Geography-reading Saints participated in this competition. Through this experience, they delved into the intricacies of urban planning and design for Paya Lebar Airbase and gained first-hand experience as architects and urban planners. After going through several rounds of critiques, they put up a final presentation of their plans before a panel of judges. The results were recently announced and we are proud of our Saints that were awarded the Merit Award. Congratulations! URA_CUBECollage.jpg
