Our Schools Our Story Contest - Best Story Award 2020 (Youth Category, United as One)

Marcus Lim of 19A01 captured snippets of the victorious day. Titled 'Together, Stronger', this series of photos was awarded the Best Photo Story in the Our Schools Our Story contest organised by the
Ministry of Education, Singapore
. We are proud of how our Saints have strived for excellence in their different interests and hope that they will continue to pursue their passions.


Our Schools Our Story Contest - Best Story Award 2020 (Youth Category, Priceless Moments)

This was part of the quote which was submitted along with Rachel's entry for the Our Schools, Our Stories (OSOS) photo contest. Her photo series titled ‘A Thrilling Ride’ was awarded the Best Photo Story and was also featured in yesterday’s copy of The New Paper.
Rachel’s photos and reflections are a timely reminder for Saints to cherish every moment they have in SAJC, especially as the JC2s attend their farewell assembly this coming Friday.




URA Challenge for the Urban and Built Environment (CUBE) 2020

Urban Redevelopment Authority
. Over the span of five days in November 2019, a team of Geography-reading Saints participated in this competition. Through this experience, they delved into the intricacies of urban planning and design for Paya Lebar Airbase and gained first-hand experience as architects and urban planners. After going through several rounds of critiques, they put up a final presentation of their plans before a panel of judges. The results were recently announced and we are proud of our Saints that were awarded the Merit Award. Congratulations!

!Computing @SMU Award 2020

SMU School of Information Systems
, and aims to recognise and motivate graduating Junior College students to pursue further education and careers in computing. The award recipient will receive i) certificate and cash prize, ii) priority in the admission process to SMU’s School of Information Systems’ degree programmes and iii) opportunities to interact with professors and senior year students of SMU’s School of Information Systems’ at specially arranged workshops and networking events.We are pleased to share that our Infocomm Club President, Ian Wong from 19S04, has been awarded with the Computing@SMU Award. Congratulations Ian!

Young Transport Engineer Book Prize 2020

We are pleased to announce that Tan Qi Sheng from 19S08 has been awarded with this book prize. Our heartiest congratulations to him!
Valedictorian 2020, Isaac Chung
Our 2020 valedictorian, Isaac Chung, has been awarded the ASEAN Undergraduate Scholarship to read Medicine at NTU Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine. To symbolise the beginning of the medical school journey, all first-year medical students attended the White Coat Ceremony on 11 August. We wish Isaac all the best in his studies and may he uphold our TRUE and WISE values in his endeavours to bring about positive difference to the lives of others. Up and on!
