TDP Interdisciplinary Learning Journey to Thailand

24 of our JC1 students in the Talent Development Programme (TDP) embarked on the Interdisciplinary Learning Journey to Thailand from 28 May to 1 June 2024. Our Saints experienced an exciting slew of activities, such as visiting the Ancient City, Bank of Thailand Learning Centre and Stock Exchange of Thailand to gain a better appreciation of the cultural and economical aspects of Thailand. 

The highlight of this trip was the exchange programme with our longstanding twinning school – Triam Udom Suksa School.

Our teachers and Saints were given a very warm welcome and hospitality by the host. Besides feeding us well with a sumptuous variety of food, our Thai friends taught us how to cook Thai cuisine and dance Thai traditional dance, invited us to tour their school campus and sit in their lessons.

Last but not least, our students and their Thai buddies visited the nearby Snake Museum to gain an understanding of the efforts made in snake research. To end off the trip, our students also had another chance to attend a Thai Cooking Class and pick up the life skill of cooking.

Overall, this trip had certainly helped our Saints to develop as global citizens with a global outlook. 🌎
