Concert Band



At the SAJC Concert Band, we believe that music-making should be enjoyable! While the Band is a family that enjoys making music, we also strive for excellence in every performance. We know that by working together as a tight-knitted Band, we are growing and developing together, not only in our musicality, but also in our character. 

Besides participating in the biennial Singapore Youth Festival, the Band also organizes performances to feature our hard work and progress to family and friends. We also embark on a wide range of enrichment activities to hone our musicality and bonding, such as concerts, camps, band exchanges (including with professional musicians), workshops/masterclasses,  and public performances at various venues.

Practices are held on Mondays and Wednesdays, 3:30 to 7pm, with our talented resident Conductor, Mr Marvin Khoo. We are also guided by our supportive Teachers-In-Charge Ms Jesulyn Lim, Ms Grace Leong and Mr Lin Wenquan.
